摘要
A structural model for evaluation of effective elastic properties of the damage accumulating particulate composites is developed. For this purpose, a physical discretization principle has been postulated and a synthesis of disordered geometrical structures has been realised. The combination of these approaches has resulted in a model relating structural peculiarities of the system to its macroscopic behaviour. The model allows for failing of structural elements with the pertinent damage accumulation Two damage mechanisms have been examined: debonding of matrix from inclusion and matrix rupturing between the neighbouring particles. The modelling provides deeper insight into the influence of structural parameters on the macroscale behaviour of particulate composites.
