摘要
In this paper induction motor and its vector control are simulated and a novel artificial neural network based on wavelets is used as controller in order to make the system more robust. The data for training the N N is extracted from the process with several PID set controller to achieve the best operation for all regions of the system operations. At different resolutions, the desired accuracy is obtained and find out that going to higher resolution is not necessary. After determining the number of nodes at each resolution and the number of wavelets at each node, the location of nodes at each resolution is determined. Finally a vector controlled induction motor for traction applications was designed and implemented that the results prove the validity of the drive.
