摘要:
The synthesis of methyl-4,4'-di(phenylcarbamate) (MDC) from the reaction of 4,4'-methylenedianiline (MDA) with dimethylcarbonate (DMC) was investigated; the reaction intermediate and final product were separated, purified, analyzed and identified by liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, element analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and H-1 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The results illustrated that this synthesis reaction is a consecutive process through an intermediate; the final product is MDC and the intermediate is methyl-4-(4'-aminobenzyl) phenylcarbamate.
