摘要：
Over the past few years, economic theory has been widely discussed not only in scientific publications but also in the mass media. The global economic crisis disclosed serious problems in its basic theses and drew the attention of scholars to the necessity to review many concepts of the economic mainstream. An RAS Presidium meeting was devoted to discussion of possible innovations in this sphere, based on applying the methodology of modern systems theory.
