The applications of active network to wireless environment

摘要
Today we are faced with an increasing demand for continuous network connectivity in the 'wired-and-wireless-integrated network. However there are many problems in this type network due to the wireless network's characteristics. In this paper, we propose an architecture named AWA (Active Wireless Architecture) based on active network technology to solve the problems caused in wireless network, especially enhance TCP performance over wireless link aim at the problem of TCP performance degradation in wireless environment Network simulation proves that this architecture has more merits and better performance.
