摘要
This paper presents the design of a remote control system for a mobile duck robot. The robot is driven by DC motors and has an imitation module composed of a speaker and RC servo motors to act like its biological counterpart. Two PICs work as a master controller and a slave controller respectively and construct the core of the control architecture. Using this robotic duck, we conducted interaction experiments in order to build a parent-children-like relationship between the robotic duck and the ducklings. We present this paper as a platform to explore the application of biologically-inspired robotics to the agriculture. In the future, we hope our study will contribute to developing a new management system to support the Rice Duck Farming.
