Natural geography in the field of geography: What about the education reform LK 2020 on the view of natural geography among scholars?

摘要
The new curriculum subject renewal (LK 2020) had proposals for major changes for the subject of geography in primary and secondary school. The article analyzes consultation responses to reforms from primary and secondary schools. The purpose of the study is to shed light on the view and understanding of natural geography in the school subject geography and in the school subject social studies as it emerges from the consultation from the school. The analysis shows that there is a big difference in the view of the school subject geography between teachers in primary school and upper secondary school. Teachers of geography in upper secondary school have a strong identity for the subject and natural geography is seen as a central part of geography teaching, while teachers of social studies in primary school are to a small extent concerned with natural geography as a subject in social studies teaching.
