The richness species of Mosquitoes from Durango, Mexico is updated. Mosquito specimens (1,362) of 19 species were obtained from 28 localities. Aedes epactius Dyar y Knab, 1908, and Culex quinquefasciatus Say, 1823 species associated with urban areas were most abundant. Recorded for the first time were Culex coronator Dyar y Knab, 1906, Haemagogus (Haemagogus) anastasionis Dyar, 1921b, Uranotaenia lowii Theobald, 1901, Culex salinarius Coquillett, 1904, Mansonia indubitans Dyar y Shannon, 1925, Culiseta inornata (Williston, 1893), and Lutzia bigoti (Bellardi, 1862).
