A few Problems Worth Paying Attention to in the Public Education in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics

Mathematics and applied mathematics is one of the most important basic theoretical professions in the comprehensive universities. The basic theory of the profession itself is strong, but with the development of the society, and the increasing demand for the applied talents, this profession also needs to pay attention to the cultivation of the applied talents. Based on the characteristics of the endemicity and practicability of the applied mathematics, the author of this paper analyzes the several aspects of the public education of mathematics and applied mathematics.
