Determination of chromium in human premolar teeth by flame atomic absorption spectrometry

摘要
The chromium content in premolars taken from 43 healthy inhabitants of Ruda Slaska was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The mean concentration of chromium in teeth was 5.15 +/- 0.38 mu g g(-1). The chromium content was significantly higher in women's teeth and correlated well with donor's age. Accuracy of the applied method was tested on certified reference material and equalled 3.01%.
