摘要
The two-fluid model for metal-insulator systems such as Si:P, involving localized and delocalized electrons, is extended to allow for magnetic field effects. Specific-heat and spin susceptibility expressions are given for the extended model and the predictions are compared with available experimental results. The agreement is satisfactory but further measurements of, for example, the Wilson ratio are needed in order to provide a more stringent test of the model.
