摘要
Group of 111 children aged 1-18 years old with drug resistant epilepsy were treated with ketogenic diet. Minimum observation period was 3 months and maximum 12 months. After 12 months observation 16 children (19,75%) were seizure free or reached at least 90% reduction in seizures, 24 (29,63%) children reached at least 50% but less than 90% reduction of seizure number, 10 (12,35%) children reached less than 50% reduction of seizures, in 5 (6,17%) children there was no seizures reduction. We noted most of adverse effects described in the literature. These conclusions are not new, but have been confirmed in the large group of patients from our study.
