The Reorganization of Further Education in Psychotherapy in Germany: Status Quo and Outlook from a Clinical-Neuropsychological Perspective Abstract: The revision of the Psychotherapists Act, the new version of which came into force in September 2020, has a number of consequences that affect the future further training of licensed clinical neuropsychologists. This article presents the current status of this complex transition process, the special position of the field of clinical neuropsychology in this process, and the currently foreseeable impact on future chamber-led further education. It provides information about the current state of knowledge of the legal and organizational framework for the future chamber-led further education. It then delineates future fields of activity for the stakeholders and institutions active in the diverse contexts in the field of clinical neuropsychology.
