摘要
This paper aims to study the reciprocal impacts of the senior executives' pay and the corporation's performance with 3079 publicly listed companies as the research subjects. The research data between 2006 and 2008 are used in this article to evaluate the impacts of the corporation size, the proportion of the stock shares held by the senior executives and corporation locations on the senior executives' pay and corporation's performance. The results show that the senior executives' pay and corporation's performance are positively related to each other and have different impacts on the corporations that are in different regions. In addition, the senior executives' pay and corporation's performance have a bigger impact in those under-developed regions.
