摘要
ZnO thin layer has a broad potential application in optoelectronic devices. In the present study, vertically align ZnO layers on ITO glass were synthesized using wet chemical method. The seed layers were prepared using electrodeposition method at 3 degrees C. After that, the growing process was carried out using chemical bath deposition (CBD) at 90 degrees C. To improve the structural property of the ZnO layers, hydrothermal technique was used subsequently. Results showed that seeding layer has a great influence on the physical properties of the ZnO layers. Moreover, hydrothermal process conducted after the ZnO growth can enhance the morphological property of the layers. From the experiments, it is found that the ZnO layers has diameter of similar to 60 nm with increasing thickness from similar to 0.8 to 1.2 mu m and band-gap energies of similar to 3.2 eV.
