摘要
We studied the electrical conduction of Langmuir-Blodgett films formed by mixing BEDO-TTF and arachidic acid. Mylar films are used as substrates easy to cut into appropriate size to be inserted into cryostats and pressure cells. Use of flexible substrate is advantageous for future application. Metallic conduction is achieved down to 130 K. For thick films, conductivity shows a hysteresis that is ascribed to the mismatch of thermal contraction between the film and the substrate. By applying pressure up to 1 GPa, the conductivity increased and the hysteresis is suppressed. (c) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
