摘要
In this article, a new sampling head for fine dust is presented which can be used in passive and active sampling systems for low air volume flows.The newTHN 2 sampling head has a base plate with a movable bearing so that the sampler can rotate about its horizontal axis. By means of flow simulation, the flows and their velocities were determined with spatial resolution for all investigated sampling heads.The newTHN 2 sampling head shows a homogeneous velocity distribution, which results in improved sedimentation of the dust particles in the sample collector. Finally, the separable limiting particle size is discussed as a function of the inflow of the outside air.
