Dilatometric and dielectric study of phase transitions in NH2(CH3)2MnCl3•2H2O crystals

摘要
On the basis of dielectric and dilatometric investigations of NH2(CH3)(2)MnCl3. 2 H2O crystals the existence of phase transitions at T-1 = 300 K, T-2 = 235 K and T-3 = 180 K has been confirmed. Besides, it was shown that these crystals are characterized by clear Debye-type dielectric relaxations and a strongly anisotropic protonic conductivity which depend on the humidity of the environment. The main features of these effects are explained on the basis of two possible mechanisms of proton transport.
