摘要
The goal of this research is to develop a preliminary theoretical yield stress calculation method for debris flow slurry. The grains in debris flow slurry include sand, silt, and clay. The cohesive silt and clay form a network structure, and sand grains are kept in the network. The yield stress of debris flow slurry can be considered to be composed of the binding force of the network and the friction force of the sand grains kept in the network. The binding forces considered are van der Waals attractive forces, and electrical double-layer interactive forces. A simple theoretical yield stress calculation method was proposed based on the binding force of the network and the friction force of the sand grains. The yield stress formula was prelimimarily validated.
