摘要
In this paper, a design method of superconducting synchronous generator applied to wave power generation is proposed to obtain better output performance than permanent magnet synchronous generator. A strong magnetic field density is obtained by the strong magnetic field capturing ability of the superconducting material. The generator uses a fractional slot concentrated winding. By increasing the number of pole pairs, the generator can still obtain a larger electrical angle at a lower speed, thereby increasing the output voltage, which is beneficial to the improvement of the generator efficiency. The output performance of superconducting synchronous generators, such as induced voltage and efficiency, is superior to permanent magnet synchronous generators. Finite-element analysis method is applied to verify the results using Maxwell.
