摘要
As we know, modern African literature is a product of an encounter between imperial Europe and the Black Continent. That new tradition has yet to create its institutions as well as its own canons. The following article is an attempt to deal with the controversies that oppose writers and critics on the subject of the status of African literature. It also points to a certain number of possibilities regarding its autonomy.
