摘要：
Options available, including choice of anaerobic technology and recent techniques which could be exploited for cost-effective management of distillery wastes, have been discussed. Advanced techniques associated with membrane processes like reverse osmosis and nanofiltration which are employed worldover and their feasibility in the Indian context are presented.
