摘要
This article investigates the concept of literature from the dialogue between the works of two authors who used the word as resistance to the condition of deprivation to which they were submitted: Carolina Maria de Jesus (1914-1977) and Stella do Patrocinio (1941-1997). Along this path, the poetic moments built up by those two women strong-minded to create a place in the world for themselves despite the subjective chasms and the oppressive atmosphere guided this investigation. The present study starts from the legacy left by these women despite - and starting from - helplessness, hunger, delirium or deprivation to inquire about the power of the word as a shelter against the annihilation of subjectivity.
