摘要
The area coordinated control of urban traffic is an efficient approach to relieve the urban traffic congestion. In this paper, a hi-level programming model is formulated. In the upper level, we aim to minimize the total time spent in the urban artery, which considers the constraints of sequence phases' starting and duration through the macroscopic traffic flow model. In the lower level, the goal is to maximize the vehicle release rate. In this work, vehicular emissions model is adopted to calculate the emissions and an environmental constraint is introduced by considering the requirement of air quality. Simulation experiments are conducted using data of real road network. Experimental results indicate that our method not only reduces the total time at a rate of approximately 10%, but reduces the concentration of PM2.5 as well.
