Large-eddy simulation of the combined convection around a heated rotating cylinder

Large-eddy simulation of the combined convection was simulated and the classical results were obtained. The combined convection around the heated rotating cylinder was also simulated and the results agree well with available experimental results. A Nusselt number correlation for the combined convection was proposed. This correlation gives the heat transfer coefficient for the small rotation regime, with an error smaller than 4%.
