摘要:
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a complex disease which is, to date, neither properly investigated nor fully understood. The following article emphasizes factors which are focused in current research projects on AD which affect the pathogenesis of AD essentially. These factors comprise antimicrobial peptides, the cutaneous microbiome, importance of the histamine receptor H4R, and genetic implications which provide relevant insights in implications for systemic therapies in AD treatment.
