摘要
The nanosize-TiO2 powder, with high photocatalysis for methyl-orange under visible light was synthesized by hydrothermal process using acetone-prydine-ethanol and Ti(OBU)(4) as a precursor. The prepared powder was characterized by XRD,TEM and DTA-TG. Its visible light photocatalysis was analyzed by comparing with P25 TiO2 powder as well as that prepared through classic sol-gel route. Obvious differences of the absorption states on their surfaces were shown among different powders. The photocatalysis performance under visible light was improved with the decrease of surface absorbed materials after heat treatment under 265 degrees C. It was suggested that the high photoeatalysis performance of the nanosize TiO2 synthe sized in the cetone-prydine-ethand solvent was related to the surface absorbed material.
