A. C. Scott

A. C. Scott was a pioneer in researching the theatre of both China and Japan and was the founder of the Asian Theatre Program at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where he directed performances that drew on taijiquan training. Siyuan Liu is an assistant professor of theatre at the University of British Columbia. He has published research articles on twentieth-century Chinese and Japanese theatre in Theatre journal, TDR, Asian Theatre Journal, and Text and Presentation.
