The use of systems dynamics simulation in creating a learning organization

Information in its own right is perhaps of limited value. Its true value is only realised as it is transformed into knowledge and understanding which the organisation can use for its own purposes. Knowledge Management can help organizations store, order and process information to provide the knowledge and understanding it requires. In applying the principles and practices of Knowledge management. the organization can become a Learning Organisation. It can be suggested that an organization which can learn faster than its competitors, should excel in competition. Being a learning organization may well be its 'competitive edge'. Information technology can assist in addressing these difficulties. In this paper we discuss the basic concepts of Learning Organisations.
