The analysis of college and university employment costs in China - A case study of a major Chinese university

To analyse the system of employment costs in colleges and universities, this article is a study of the employment costs of a certain university. The study shows that, since the wagr reform based on the post allowance was introduced, university teachers are more satisfied, though there is still a discrepancy between the current wage and their expectations. In addition, the level of wages is not the only factor that affects teachers' morale. Whether the distribution system is fair or not also has an important impact on them.
