On a class of nonlinear BBM-like equations

摘要：
We derive well-posedness results for a Cauchy problem associated to a class of semilinear equations with structured nonlinearities. In particular, these nonlinearities are characteristically composed of the fractional power of a linear operator and a locally Lipschitz continuous map. As an application we treat a boundary-initial value problem for the so called Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (BBM) equation.
