摘要
The thermophysical properties of several commercial-grade aluminium alloys were measured. These alloys were chosen so as to contain a range of property values. These alloys were 1100-F 2024-T4, 6061-T6, and 7075-T6. The properties determined were electric resistivity, thermal diffusivity, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity, thermal expansion, and density. The temperature range covered was room temperature to 100 K above the liquidus temperature. In most cases values were obtained during both heating and cooling. Correlations among the properties and between the properties and compositions are examined.
