Relationship between network latency and information quality in a synchronized distributed virtual environment

摘要
In this paper, the theoretical modeling of interactive performance on a distributed virtual environment (DVE) is carried out. To study the degradation of the information quality caused by the existence of network latency on a simple virtual task model. Markow model is employed. Compared with the numerical simulation, the proposed model can be a good approximation of the simulation results. The results of subjective experiments show that, in average, the accuracy of human foreseeing behavior marked between the score of the first and the second order Markov models.
