Vehicle velocity effect on dynamic effect factor to a vehicle bridge system

摘要
The dynamic effect factor (DEF) is proposed in the paper, which differs from the commonly used dynamic amplification factor (DAF). With the preliminary calculation, it is found that the DEF reflects the whole dynamic response rather than the dynamic amplification result solely, while the vehicle moving along the bridge from one end to another. As the DEF value varies significantly in some sections, to overcome this, displacement is considered synthetically. The dynamic displacement and DEF are obtained in various forms with respect to velocity. The dynamic response process is obtained and thereby the insignificant sections can be filtered.
