Finite element simulation of hammering hydroforming of tubes

摘要
A hammering hydroforming process of tubes is simulated by the rigid-plastic finite element method. In this process, the inner pressure necessary for the bulging of the tube is oscillated during the hydroforming. The nodal forces obtained by integrating the inner pressure are applied to the nodal points at the inner surface, and the forces are oscillated synchronously with the cycle of the inner pressure. The effect of the oscillation of the inner pressure on the deformation behavior in the hammering hydroforming is examined using both finite element simulation and experiment.
