摘要
TiC-Fe based powder materials have been prepared by a self-propagating high temperature synthesis comminution process. The type of deforming device (cone or mill cutter) has been shown to influence the particle size and shape and the fraction of smaller particles in the powders. We present results of analysis of the surface structure and phase composition of the synthesized powder materials and their particle size distributions in relation to the type of deforming device used.
