摘要
A method for the determination of mercury in hard coal and lignite is presented. A closed installation for combustion of a coal sample and absorption of the released mercury vapour was used. Mercury was determined by cold vapour atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS). Accuracy of mercury determination was verified using the reference materials with certified contents of mercury in coal. The mercury content in hard coal and lignite sampled from coal-fired power stations was then tested.
