摘要
Microsatellite loci were isolated from a dinucleotide-enriched library made from the African blue wildebeest, Connochaetes taurinus. Seventeen polymorphic microsatellites were characterized among 24 individuals sampled from Tanzania. The number of alleles ranged from 4 to 12 and the observed heterozygosity between 0.45 and 1.00. These microsatellite loci should prove useful in the study of population structure of the blue wildebeest.
