摘要：

The paper reports a synthesis of the main problems, procedural methodologies and solutions implemented during the underground works of the terminal section of Cancelli tunnel. In the following pages are described the restrictions to the development of the project about road tracing and geological and geotechnical aspects for the excavation of a large section tunnel (about 225 m2) in low coverage. After a general description about the main project (Quadrilatero Marche Umbia), the text describes the monitoring activity during the works and the solutions adopted for the realization of the long term lining.
