摘要：

Sulphate attack is one of the most important factors affecting the durability of concrete. This article presents an experimental study on the sulphate resistance of ground granulated blast furnace slag cement as compared to that of ordinary Portland cement and sulphate resistant cement. In the study, mortar specimens were prepared and subjected to 5% Na So(4) solution for a period of 32 weeks. The performances of the cements were then determined through the expansion and compressive strength measurements. The results revealed that blast furnace slag cement showed a good performance against sulphate attack.
