摘要
The coarsening of an assembly of second phase particles is considered. In the steady-state regime the form function h of the scaled size distribution n(u,t), u = R/ [R] is independent of time. It is shown that the growth path R(t) of any particle during steady-state coarsening is completely determined by h(u) and the course of the mean radius [R], providing n(u,t) satisfies the continuity equation and the particle volume fraction can be regarded as constant.
