摘要
Art atomization model for plain-orifice diesel fuel sprays is developed. It considers both turbulent fluctuation in the jet flow and wave growth by gas inertia force due to the jet velocity. The atomization model developed is implemented as a module into the KIVA code in terms of the primary and secondary drop parcels. The computation results are in good agreement with the experimental data for the drop size distribution as well as the spray tip penetration and the spray shape.
