Rapid discrimination of the character of the water-cooled blast furnace slag used for Portland slag cement

摘要：
Characteristics of the water-cooled blast furnace slag was investigated. Relationship between various parameters of slag and the compressive strength iof concrete composites was also investigated. It was observed that character of the slag depends in part on its thermal history. It was also found that slag produced under slower cooling conditions tend to form crystalline phase.
