The Covid19 pandemic has highly impacted on the education system. This paper presents the case of the Online Communication Design course of University della Svizzera italiana. It focuses on the challenges and opportunities of adapting a traditional course to a hybrid and then to a fully online course. The research advances the literature on fashion education by discussing the relevance of the updated curricula for fashion students. Moorever, from the analysis of the course outcome, the research suggests practices that positively contributed to reaching the goals of the course and could be adopted in structuring and developing future courses.
