摘要
The presence of foreign bodies in the stomach (compartment I and II) was surveyed in 337 camels. 40.4% of the investigated camels had foreign bodies of various sizes, weights and types: they included bones, trichobezoars, strings, ropes, plastics, rags, canvas and hard, partly calcified bodies. Foreign body impaction was observed in seven young animals and one case of traumatic reticulitis caused by a penetrating wire was recorded. The causes and sequelae of foreign body ingestion are discussed.
