The design of the application and service platform for grid pilot services

The Grid-based Information Technology's (IT) applications which are designed and developed to improve the service quality by using Grid technology is discussed. The grid technology focus on the science application field like ST, NT and BT, and specially in the IT area by integrating with IT technology. Architecture of Grid-based online game pilot service includes the channel server consisting of game middleware server, game management server, and game server pool, and data base server. The game middleware server consists of two parts including DB Middleware server and log server. The grid based online game architecture includes a lobby host, database management system (DBMS), client-server computer system, and a game server. Grid-based ASP service provide the service applications requiring a large of computing equipments in the distributed computing environment using Grid technology.
