MHD model of astrophysical jets

摘要
Astrophysical jets are modelled by the exact axially symmetric equilibria of plasma in the gravitational field of an attracting center. The derived solutions have: an arbitrary constant partition between the plasma magnetic and kinetic energy and generalize the Chandrasekhar equipartition solution. The obtained equilibria are ergodic in variable z and depend on an arbitrary integer N and arbitrary parameters beta, a(1),..., a(N-1), b(1),..., b(N-1). Near the attracting center, the solutions have either an accretion hyperboloid or disk or cone. The latter does not depend on the above parameters and has the semi-vertical angle of 60 degrees.
