Mediation and other MASC tools have been steadily promoted in recent times in the field of international family law all over the world. Also in relation to disputes involving minors. The EU is no strange to this process and its contribution to this end is relevant. However, many doubts remain as regards the use of these mechanisms in the international practice in this area.
