摘要
Robot Tungsten Inert Gas welding is a current technology for welding of work pieces with high accuracy. The process parameters captures important role in successful welding of dissimilar materials. The effect of welding process parameters on Robotic TIG welded joints is studied with Response Surface Methodology by varying welding control parameters. For each weldment, the impact strength is measured. To maximize the impact strength of weld joints, the control parameters are to be optimized. It is observed that current 180 A, 0.82 mm/min wire feed rate and 0.08 mm/min travelling speed are found to be optimum also found that wire feed is highly influenced to maximize the impact strength.
