摘要：
The total solar eclipse of August 11, 1999 will have its maximum in Romania. The umbral path on the Romanian territory is described. The scientific activity: meetings, observational programmes, as well as other activities intended to be performed on this occasion are presented. The International Association "ECLIPSA '99" is introduced.
